Kurt Drysdale's Story

Kurt Drysdale, a 21 year old Rugby League player who was paralysed 12 months ago. Through Rotary World Community Service (RAWCS)  a project has been approved to establish a TRUST Fund to build Luke a new family home to sustain him and enable him to move out of hospital to home, family, friends and community. 

Rotary Public Image Australia is proud of its assocation with Channel 9 - A Current Affair and that it is Rotary International that Channel 9 elects to partner with.

This is a project established under the guidelines of RAWCS - Rotary Australia Benevolent Society

Rotary responds to Fiji

Within hours of the passage of Cyclone Winston, Shelterbox had a response team on the ground to assit with the distribution of 204 boxes from New zealand and later 209 boxes were lown ut of Melbourne enroute to Fiji by DFAT & ADF. Plans are underway  with the Fijian covenment to deploy another 2000 boxes.
